Keith Blanchard Limited are able to undertake specialist projects where specialised fabrications are involved. A recent example would be The Royal Marsden Hospital for W.T.Cuffe Limited.

A new MRI scanner to be installed on the third floor of the hospital required substantial structural steelwork support, but mild steel would interfere with the scanner due to its magnetic properties. A decision was taken to manufacture all the structural steelwork from stainless steel plate sections fully welded to form ‘I’ beams, spliced in the centre, with equivalent structural properties to those of S275 mild steel. Keith Blanchard Limited carried out the works within programme and specification criteria to the satisfaction of all parties.
